No. Every Prosody London fragrance is 100% free from synthetic musks, phthalates, parabens, and petroleum-derived ingredients. Synthetic musks such as galaxolide are lipophilic — they accumulate in human tissue and have been detected in blood and breast milk in a 2005 study published in Chemosphere. Phthalates such as diethyl phthalate (DEP) are classified as endocrine disruptors that interfere with hormone signalling. We use rare botanical fixatives — agarwood resin, labdanum, galbanum — to achieve longevity without any of these ingredients.
