We design clean, safe, and pure fragrances that can be made for centuries without harming the environment or users’ wellbeing.

Organic at Prosody london

Prosody London incorporates over 90% organic ingredients into all our products. We derive the ethanol in our perfumes from organic grain, certified by relevant authorities, just like all our organic ingredients. We believe plant matter grown without pesticides and chemicals is best for our health. Our skin, a less understood organ, absorbs what we apply to it. By minimizing toxins applied to our bodies, we enhance our well-being and contribute positively to wildlife and the environment

Saving water

At Prosody London, we design our production methods to conserve water resources. We minimize water usage throughout our processes, opting instead to blend oils with alcohol for dilution. By eliminating water from our products, we mitigate the risk of bacterial growth, as water (aqua) is prone to breeding bacteria. This approach also negates the need for synthetic preservatives, as alcohol naturally acts as a preservative.

Furthermore, we take pride in formulating perfumes that exhibit exceptional longevity without relying on synthetic musks. Unlike synthetic musks that harm clean water, we craft fragrances with sustainability in mind. By using natural ingredients and avoiding harmful synthetics, we help preserve clean water and support ecosystem health.

British maker

We develop our exquisite fragrances in the heart of London, a city known for its rich history and vibrant creativity. We create our perfumes in the tranquil English countryside, on the edge of the North Wessex Downs. Our facilities sit amidst lush landscapes and rolling hills. This serene setting allows us to craft each scent with care and precision.

We blend the urban energy of London with the calm of the countryside. This fusion gives our perfumes a unique character, combining London’s sophistication with rural England’s timeless charm.

As all-natural perfumers, we pride ourselves on sourcing materials from around the world. Many come from developing nations. At Prosody London, we prioritize ethical sourcing practices, ensuring that our partnerships benefit local communities. Through our commitment to Fair Trade initiatives, we strive to empower artisans and farmers, promoting sustainable livelihoods and fair wages

We actively support causes that promote clean water access and education, especially for girls, in these regions. We partner with reputable charities to address critical issues. Our goal is to improve living conditions and create educational opportunities for young girls in underserved communities.

Vegan Perfume

We craft Prosody London perfumes solely from botanical sources, strictly rejecting traditional ingredients like deer musk, civet, and castoreum, along with their synthetic counterparts. Our goal is to emulate the captivating allure and depth of classic fragrances while maintaining a commitment to cleanliness, safety, environmental responsibility, and cruelty-free practices.

Cruelty free

We use natural materials that are well-known to science and dilute them according to IFRA standards, eliminating the need for animal testing. We also avoid exporting to countries where animal testing is mandatory for perfume and beauty

Forest friendly

We exclusively source ingredients from sustainably farmed sources to mitigate our impact on deforestation. By prioritizing sustainable farming practices, we actively work to minimize environmental harm and support responsible land management. This commitment ensures that our sourcing methods align with principles of ecological stewardship, promoting biodiversity and conserving natural habitats. Reducing waste

At Prosody London, we actively reduce our reliance on plastics in both our products and packaging. To further this commitment, we have implemented a recycling incentive program to encourage responsible disposal of our 50ml bottles and their packaging. Customers who return an empty 50ml Prosody London bottle, along with its packaging, are eligible for a discount on their next purchase as a token of our appreciation for their environmental stewardship.
